Itinerary
Arrive in Sri Lanka and receive a warm welcome. Travel to Habarana, stopping at the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage to observe rescued elephants. Enjoy an elephant-back ride in Habarana before checking in at your hotel for the night.
Climb the legendary Sigiriya Rock Fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage site with a 2,000-year history. Enjoy a village tour in Habarana, then explore the ancient city of Polonnaruwa. In the afternoon, embark on a wildlife safari in Minneriya National Park, famous for its elephant gatherings. Return to Sigiriya for the night.
Travel to Kandy, stopping en route at the Dambulla Cave Temple, renowned for its ancient Buddhist murals and statues. Visit a spice garden before checking in to your hotel in Kandy.
