Itinerary
Arrive in Sri Lanka and receive a warm welcome. Travel to Habarana, stopping at the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage to witness rescued elephants. Enjoy an elephant-back ride before checking in at your romantic hotel retreat.
Climb the legendary Sigiriya Rock Fortress together, then enjoy a village tour in Habarana. Continue to Polonnaruwa to explore ancient ruins, with an optional afternoon safari in Minneriya National Park. Overnight in Sigiriya.
Visit the Dambulla Cave Temple and a fragrant spice garden en route to Kandy. Check in to your hotel and enjoy a peaceful evening in this cultural city.
Stroll hand-in-hand through the Royal Botanical Gardens of Peradeniya. Visit local craft workshops and a gem museum. In the evening, witness a traditional dance show and visit the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic.
